Tip: Before Brainwaving - go pee!

Might sound stupid - but it is something many people take weeks to realize. A friend of mine even thought she had some bladder infection or worse…

The processes triggered by many brainwave sessions activate the metabolism and cleansing in your cells and body. In addition, many sessions use background sounds like “white noise” or “pink noise”, waterfalls, rain, ocean surfs, etc. - the result is predictable.

So even if you feel no immediate urge: use the toilet before you sit/lay down for a meditation session with brainwave support. There is nothing more distracting than that certain feeling of having to pee urgently…

And if you use brainwave entrainment to fall asleep or shortly before: don’t be astonished if you have to get up and go to the bathroom once or twice each night, even if you normally do not have to get up. There is nothing wrong - your body is just working more and better than usual and gets rid of a lot of stuff…

On a side note: it is also a good idea to drink a glass of water before every session! The increased brain activity and blood circulation might otherwise cause a stong feeling of thirst - and this is almost as distracting as the opposite…
